Glenda Eoyang is founding Executive Director of the Human Systems Dynamics (HSD) Institute. Since 1989, she has applied principles of complexity to see, understand, and influence patterns in human systems at all scales. She leads a global network of over 650 scholar-practitioners. They use HSD models and methods to lead Adaptive Action Labs that improve performance in education, philanthropy, government, healthcare, and business. Her most recent book, co-authored with Royce Holladay, is Adaptive Action: Leveraging Uncertainty in Your Organization (Stanford University Press, 2013).
